I am a Canadian International Baccalaureate student fluent in English, French, Tagalog, and able to speak Japanese. I co-founded SpeakNowTV, an online media outlet for youth voice. I am an ECHO member, a social media assistant at Latincouver, a TEDxKids@BC team member, a Vancouver Youth Food Policy Council working group member, a pianist at St Joseph's and St Patrick's Roman Catholic parishes, and a piano teacher at Husmillo Music Studios. I sing and play piano, guitar, flute, and clarinet. I am a karate black belt, play field hockey, ultimate, dance hip hop and Japanese traditional, and run short & long distance hurdles in track. I am interested in everything: music, politics, fashion, food, you name it!
I was a student radio reporter for CBC's BC Newsday 2010, on the 2011 Earth Day parade and festival organizing committee, a YouthPolitik working group member/CitizenU facilitator, a marketing assistant for Education Generation, an Evergreen Architect of a Green Legacy, a Genome BC Geneskool participant at Capilano University, a blogger for the Canadian Cancer Society, and a World Vision Canada BC Youth Leadership Team member.
In my spare time, I play with my 3 cats, BBM, tweet, eat chocolate, & shop for pink stilettos. I <3 everything Vancouver. Let's talk. :)
